Meredith, better known as "Swim Bike Mom," is a wife, mother, attorney and writer who woke up one day and decided to become a triathlete. What is funny about this? Well, she was overweight, overworked and under appreciated. She had two children under the age of three and a full-time job as a litigation attorney. Really, she was just plain tired. But something even funnier happened. She kept moving forward, training and working on the swim, bike and run. She signed up for some races. She finished a few sprint triathlons, including the PT Solutions Acworth Women's Triathlon. Then, she finished two Olympic distances races. And a year later from her decision to dive into triathlon, Meredith crossed the finish line at Ironman 70.3 Miami - 1.2 miles of swimming, 56 miles of biking, and a 13.1 mile half-marathon. She is training for her second half-Iron for 2012. The Swim Bike Mom Message: Just Keep Moving Forward! No matter how slowly you go... you must go. Eventually, you will find yourself where you previously only dreamed possible. Meredith blogs at www.SwimBikeMom.com, and tweets @SwimBikeMom. Her book, Triathlon for the Every Woman, is due out December 2012.
